George Henry Jenkins, a self-taught artist, specialised in coastal, marine, landscape and moorland scenes of Devon and Cornwall. His pictures, painted in oils and watercolours, were exhibited at The Society of Western Artists, Plymouth Arts Club and The Royal Western Academy in Bristol.
